We were quite thoroughly puzzled indeed when we encountered something very strange during our latest routine scan of the gamma quadrant. An unusually high number of stargates and other celestial objects seem to have aligned in the most unnatural of ways. You definitely should have a look at this peculiar celestial phenomenon. Well, we'll see if we can puzzle out what that could signify. |
Since we have received an increasing number of requests for a new Parsec movie lately and we are still working on the self-running demo, the download section now offers a new Parsec movie for your viewing pleasure. The movie is available in Quicktime (3.0 and higher) and MPEG formats. |

In this case, the energy power-up, which players have to collect regularly in order to deploy energy weapons. The polygon count of this object is quite high, made possible by the use of several levels of detail. It also uses new shader capabilities. |
We have done quite a bit of work on the Parsec homepage. For starters, there are two new sections: The gallery is showing off all currently finished Parsec spacecraft. Furthermore, the frequently asked questions section answers the most common questions we got via e-mail. Last but not least, we've also optimized the loading time of the page. Enjoy! |
The September 1999 screenshot has been a pretty close shot, but hey, it's still September ;). It shows an unfortunate pilot's ship getting blasted from several directions at once. |
The latest addition to the gallery of Parsec spacecraft has found a suitable name: The Claymore. A big thanx to Dylan Edwards for mailing in this really cool name! We'd also like to thank all the others who suggested spacecraft names, the decision has not been an easy one! And we are certainly going to need names for other craft in the future... |
For the second time, we will participate in the space-sim chat hosted by ATFW. If you have any questions feel free to join the chat at 1PM EST. The details can be found on atfw.intelligamer.com. |
